Flow is determined using a submerged orifice equation, a trusted industry standard for flow calculation with an accuracy of +/- 2.5%.

Our rugged sensors measure water height both inside and outside the stilling well box. These measurements are then used to calculate flow with precision. Designed for durability, the sensors require no routine maintenance and can remain in the headgate throughout the winter months.

Headgate Communications and App Control

Seamless Wireless Control and Monitoring

Wireless communication between a regional gateway and each deployed headgate enables reliable remote operation. The gateway connects to the web (cloud), allowing any web-connected device to monitor and control headgates remotely.

Users can manage headgate operations through a mobile app, a web-based application on any computer, or directly via buttons on the headgate control box. Headgates can be scheduled to open or close using the app, while manual operation is also supported. The control system can be customized to respond to manual adjustments in various ways, ensuring flexibility and ease of use.
